So on Friday we had PET DAY again, Whoopie!!!!!

There are a range of different pets to bring!!

Last year I brought a small dog

AND 

This year I am brining a big dog!

What breed I am taking is a G******** ( Can you guess the Breed?)

And my friend Mykiala is taking my other dog Meghan!

Meghan is a girl.

This year I am brining a girl dog named Evie ( Remember guess her breed G********)

Camp experience Episode 3

 Hey Bloggers !!!

How are you?

In this blog I will be sharing with you all about the sensory trail experience!

What is the sensory trail? And how do I use it?

Well… the sensory trail is a trail you have to do at night, all you have to do is hold a rope!

You will coming to rocks and trees and big steeps down, sometimes you will have to take your hand off the rope to go around rocks! but most of all you are walking and using your hand to guide yourself!

Here is a quick example:

We had to go in without blindfolds because it was pretty dark!

Alvin and I finished at the same time so we waited for everyone to arrive and then on the way back you had to have a partner and have on person be a guide and the other to be blindfolded. You had to trust your guide. Alvin and I were together and I made him crash into trees 5 times!!

The Sensory Trail is very fun and I recommend it if you have never done one!!

If you have been on a sensory trail how would you describe it??

Orienteering ~ Camp experience Episode 2

Sorry It has taken so long for to get this blog post out!

As you can see by the title it is episode 2, and we are blogging about the Orienteering activity!!!

This was our very first activity when we got to CAMP!!

As you know you have to be in a team, in my team I had: Me, Grace, Abby, and Michaela, and our leader was: Miss Rennell!

Orienteering was super fun!! And I Loved doing it, If you like finding things then this is a good activity for you!!

You might have to walk or run a long way from where you started, because at camp we walk super far away to find the polls.

Have you tried orientering before? Because if you haven’t you should try it!

Student Summit ONLINE ????

Hey bloggers!

How are you???

As you can see by the title, we had the student summit online in a google meet.

If you don’t know what a student summit is, it is a place where you can share to people about how to use tool kits online.

Because of covid-19 we are not allowed to go to the real place, so we did it over google meet hangout.

Here are the toolkits I learnt about:

STB:StopMotion.

HPS: Storyboard that.

GS:Marvellous Miro.

YMS!!: HOW TO USE PREZI!!.

The most interesting one was Storyboard that!!

This Student Summit was super fun, but   I thought it was going to be boring.

Castle Hill ~ Camp experience Episode 1

Hey Bloggers👋

What have you been up lately?

Your probably wondering what camp have we been on and what do you mean about Episode 1?

Well… we were at CAMP during Week 7, we went up to Arthur’s Pass YMCA camp.

We are doing 5 Episodes of what we did during Camp.

Today I am blogging about...

Castle Hill.

We had a pit stop at Castle Hill on the way to camp to have morning tea.

Fun Fact: Millions of years ago Castle Hill was underwater and all you would see were rocks.

As we were eating our food a bunch of our belongings and food we’re doing scobbie do’s down the rocks we sat on ( Definition of scobbie do’s : Falling)

It was a winter wonderland.

We got to throw snowballs at one another.

It was super FUN!!

My Thoughts after I presented my SPEECH!!!!

How has your day been?

So today I presented my Speech, in front of my whole class, yeah WHOLE CLASS!

So before I presented my speech I felt so scared and nervous.

 My whole body was shaking so badly!

But I've done it know and I am still shaking a scared but although relieved, because I have done it.

I fell like people don't like my speech, and during my speech I felt the people we're going to start laughing.

But I am ok know.

I have a dream

Hey Bloggers!

Whatcha doin?

We are about to start our learning on Speeches in Rimu. When I heard this I was like OH NO not again, ahh I am so bad at SPEECHES!

Before we get into all the deep learning and creating, we were able to train our brain. In order to set up our mindset for speeches, we used six tools in the MENTAL TOUGHNESS toolkit to create a inspiring drawing of yourself presenting our speech.

We used google drawings and my DLO is below - a visualisation of me during my speeches learning. MY dream for how it will all go: I really hope that it will all go well and I will be able to say I am proud of my speech!

Creating this drawing I was thinking about if I would be able to stand up and talk in front of my class!

The hardest part for me during speeches is going to be to speck clearly and not get distracted.

The easiest part is going to be is being up there and talking

I chose these tips for myself because I feel like I will be the best at these goals!

That It need to be helpful, positive, and thoughtful, and connect with the Blog Post. Ask a Question for the person to answer. Say what school you are from and who you are. Making sure that it is Nice, Kind & Friendly. Be on the positive side and not be mean or rude and not bullying. Making sure to write about the blog and connecting to it and not writing anything of topic. Make the person who wrote the Blog feel warm and good inside not bad. Have a little sentence on how they can improve.

Whats Resilience ..........

Your probably wondering what resilience is!?!?

Well...Well...Well.. resilience is: When you try & try again & not give up & bounce back when things get hard.

Here is and example → 

When I first tied my shoes it didn't work, but I wanted to get it right and I am good at it!!

When I have my hand up waiting for the teacher I don't know what to do.

When I am on the mat it is hard to stay focused when people are  being silly. 

When I look around the room I tend to focus on whats happening around me and not on my work

These are the things I am going to work on because they are most likely will make a big difference in me.

Creating Comix

Hi Bloggers,

Michaela and I learnet how to make a really interesting  comment and make a comic. It's a website that we went on to make a comic strip.

It was to make people happy and that people should write a comment when they go on peoples blog, it’s to make people feel happy, nice and that people do care of peoples blog posts that they post.
